Mowlid Aden brings with him vast and varied experience in the maritime industry with more than 10 years of working and leading international operations in different facilities in Africa and the Middle East. In 2014 he joined Djibouti Ports and Freezones Authority as a Director and has contributed to the development of Ports, Terminals and Freezones by the DPFZA bringing with him his experiences from the private sector to the regulating authority.
Mr Aden holds a BSc from the University of London, and PGrad from the World Maritime University with all-encompassing Executive Education among others at The Institute for Policy and Strategy (IPS), Herzylia-Israel, ENA in Paris and Harward. He has published several papers on Ports,the Supply Chain and Maritime Security.
